Handling and Dispatch:
We use a slow but high-quality service to ensure your box arrives in the best condition. Orders are prepared with care, requiring up to 5 days of handling to ensure quality. All meats are shipped in insulated boxes that maintain their frozen state for hours, ready for safe doorstep delivery.

Order and Delivery Minimums:
- Minimum Order: $100 for delivery.
- Metro Delivery Fee: $10. Regional areas: $15.
- Free Delivery: Orders over $500 qualify for complimentary delivery.
- In-Person Pickup: Available at Locavore Byron, Monday to Thursday, 9 am - 3:30 pm, for orders over $50.
For specific areas and delivery schedules, simply enter your postcode at checkout to view available dates. We recommend retrieving your box promptly upon delivery; with our insulated packing, the contents will remain fresh in shaded areas for up to 4 hours (2 hours in hot weather)

Frequently Asked Questions
Our boxes are designed to keep your order fresh, with an ice gel brick and insulated packaging for added peace of mind. During the warmer months, we recommend placing your order in the fridge within 2 hours of delivery. In cooler weather, it’s safe for up to 4 hours. You’ll receive an SMS once your box is delivered—just a friendly nudge to pop it in the fridge as soon as possible to maintain quality.
All of our meats are shipped frozen to preserve peak flavor and quality. Due to the nature of our transportation, items may arrive partially defrosted. Rest assured, these can be safely refrozen at home, as they are stored under secure, chilled conditions throughout the journey.

We deliver nearly every day, giving you flexibility to select a convenient delivery day at checkout. Please note a standard handling time of 5 days to ensure that every item arrives in its optimal, frozen-fresh state.

You’ll receive an SMS with tracking details when your box is dispatched. If your order did not arrive as expected, please check the tracking status on your order:
- On Hold: Your box is delayed, and we’ll update you when it’s back on track.
- Delivered: If tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received it, reach out to our Customer Care team.
- Cancelled: If we couldn’t fulfill your order, you’ll be notified and rescheduled promptly.
