How We Stretch One Box for Two Weeks of Dinners

Anyone else love a good meal plan?

We’ve put together a 2-week meal plan to show exactly how we use our Family Box to feed a family of four—allowing for a fish night, a takeaway night, and even a pub night.

This is real, flexible, everyday cooking, designed to minimise waste, maximise flavour, and make dinnertime easy.

 


 

Week 1

Sunday: Roast Chicken with crispy potatoes + green salad
Monday: Chicken Noodle Soup with leftover roast chicken, ½ pouch frozen bone broth, noodles + greens
Tuesday: Tray Baked Fried Rice with leftover roast chicken + finely chopped bottom-of-the-drawer veggies
Wednesday: Homemade fish + chips (caught by Mog)
Thursday: Lamb sliders + sweet potato on the BBQ with a Greek-ish salad
Friday: Takeaway night in our house!
Saturday: T-Bone steak, spuds + crunchy green salad

 


 

Week 2

Sunday: Spag Bol with beef family mince (always makes enough for the kids' thermoses!)
Monday: Our Go-To Chicken Slider Noodle Soup – roll the chicken sliders into minis, brown in a pan, then poach in the other half of the frozen broth pouch with noodles + greens
Tuesday: Slow Cooked Brisket Bowls (rice, carrot, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, guacamole + grated cheese)
Wednesday: Beach BBQ after school – snags, rolls + salad
Thursday: Brisket Tacos using the leftover brisket
Friday: Pub dinner after a big week!
Saturday: Butter Chicken (with stir fry strips), yoghurt flatbreads + cucumber yoghurt
